XIANG YANG HONG 10 Scientific Research Vessel

For Xiang Yang Hong 10, the vessel is operated and managed by China Company. Xiang Yang Hong 10 is a comprehensive research vessel for the demand of deep sea ocean science research with multi-disciplines, multi-functions and multi-measures all-in-one. The vessel is able to carry out survey, exploration, sampling, on-site analysis works for various ocean environments such as offshore and ocean dynamic environment, geological environment, ecological environment and deep sea extreme environment. The vessel is an important ocean test platform and mobile laboratory for the basic science research and high-tech R&D in the field of oceanology.

Xiang Yang Hong 10 has Loa of 93m, moulded width of 17.4m, moulded depth of 8.8m, total tonnage of 4502, cruising ability of12,000 nautical miles, and personnel of 65. The vessel with DP1 is driven by the advanced electrical propulsion system with 2 azimuth rudder/propellers and 2 pitch-adjustable bow thrusters. Acoustic equipment transducer is installed in the bottom of vessel by GONDOLA suspension platform.
The vessel has a 430 m² aft deck and 515 m² laboratory.
